Super excited about my birthday, I was feeling fun and colorful last night and ended up with this funky little number. Polka dots have been showing up on celebrity trend pages a lot recently, so I am thinking they are going to be big in fall. I added a pop of color with this vintage scarf that belonged to my grandmother, and topped the look off with a crystal clutch and a bunch of resin bangles and bracelets. I bought this clutch for a black tie wedding, but thought it would be fun to resurrect it last night to add some sparkle! It’s always great finding a use for those special occasion items stored in the back of your closet.

I have been really into the wrist party trend and am taking full advantage of the chance to wear all my bracelets — at the same time. David is taking me to Boka tonight for my birthday. I am not sure what I will be wearing yet, but I know it will involve lots of wrist candy! Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Wearing Express tank, Forever 21 skirt, vintage scarf, Swiss Legends watch, Zoe Adams clutch, resin bangles and Prada slingbacks.

What a fun outfit!!! Layering bracelets are a big thing and I love that it is “arm candy”. My customers love it when I show them how easy it is. Happy Birthday!!!
Yay! I would looove to work with some of your pieces! I can’t wait!
i love that skirt, so fabulous just like you birthday girl! <3
Happy Birthday to my colorful, wonderful daughter. Grandma would be proud to see you
wearing her scarf…Love you
What an adorable polka dot skirt. I love that scarf! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Happy Birthday!
Thanks so much! I love heirloom pieces. Every time I wear it I feel closer to my grandmother! Thanks for visiting!
I can relate. I have a few items left from my grandmother and when I wear them I just feel so “connected” to her. Not sure what’s up with my WP account, but my blog is http://pjandhubby.wordpress.com.
